• John & Gina Erickson - Lead Pastors

John grew up in Southern California, and Gina grew up right here in the PNW, in Puyallup. Both have followed Jesus from a young age, and both felt called to ministry in their teenage years. John and Gina met while attending Life Pacific University, the Foursquare Bible College, and married after their graduation in 2006. Both hold B.A. degrees in Biblical Studies, and both are licensed and ordained Foursquare Pastors. Their favorite part about living here in University Place is the small community feeling, and the quick access to all things fun near the ocean, mountains, and city. John and Gina have four young kids, who keep them on their toes. In his free time, John likes to fly-fish, brush up on theology, and eat Buffalo wings. Gina likes to snow ski during the winter, go for walks around Chambers Bay during the summer, and take afternoon naps at all other times. “We’re so thankful to get to play a part in the story of New Life Church. We love this community, and we can’t wait to meet you!”

Him and his wife, Rorrie, have been married since 1978.  They have four daughters, all who are serving the Lord along with their husbands.  Glen spent five years on staff at Northwest Church serving as the worship director and has served in many other ministries in worship as well.  "On my days off I enjoy sleeping and spending time with my wife."

Outside of church, I have another great job that I get to do at World Vision, helping large corporations engage in really cool global initiatives. Favorite things: enmoladas (tacos in mole, ay que rico), chocolate & peanut butter ice cream, and soccer - how Barcelona plays it."

They also have a 30-year old daughter Kate and a 33-year old son Nate, a 4-year-old granddaughter, Scarlett and 2-year-old grandson Zavier. Cendy has 2 adult daughters Gwendolyn and Jennifer along with 7 grandchildren. In 2000 she was privileged to be part of a leadership team that took a group of youth to Australia on a mission trip. While there, Isaiah 54 was spoken over her. God has brought that word to life as she now serves as Children’s Director at New Life Foursquare Church.  "It is such a joy to watch them grow into the people God has created each of them to be. It is my passion to see them learn to have a relationship with God. I also work as a project coordinator with a background in the printing industry. Some of my favorite things to do are cheering on my grandchildren as they play sports, gardening, reading, camping, music, and movies."
